Tea 6 – Senna leaf
Pomaže kod opstipacija (zatvora). Daje se i kod bolesti gdje je poželjna defekacija s mekanom stolicom (hemoroidi, analne fisure, nakon kirurških zahvata). Početak djelovanja je nakon 8-12 sati. Ne smije se uzimati za vrijeme trudnoće i dojenja, niti davati maloj djeci.

Composition
Senna leaf (Senae folium) 50 g
Features and function
It contains anthraquinone derivatives (sennosides), flavonoids and mucus. It shows laxative effect (for cleaning the intestines). It also helps with constipation. It is given for diseases where defecation is needed such as hemorrhoids, anal fissure and after surgery. It should not be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or by small children.
Usage
One tablespoon of tea shed with about 200 ml of boiling water, stir, let it stand in the covered pan and then strain.
Storage
Close paper bag with tea after each use. Keep it on dark and dry place.
